I enjoyed a warm atmosphere with great food during my stay. The pub was welcoming, and the staff were nice. We quarreled over who had the best meal, which made our visit even more memorable.
The room was not soundproof. I noticed some cleaning issues in the bathroom, and it could have been fresher.

Had a blast staying with my friends! We enjoyed the beautiful countryside and played a round of golf nearby. The vibe was relaxed and perfect for our group getaway. Just a heads up , the place has a bit of wear and tear, like a kettle that could use descaling, but it didn’t affect our fun. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re looking for a chill place with nice amenities!
The only downside was that the staff seemed a bit stretched, which made services slightly slower. they were friendly and accommodating.

Incredible Food and Beautiful Countryside
I had a fantastic stay in a Small Double Room, where the food was truly exceptional, especially the full English breakfast that set the bar high for any hotel meal. The serene countryside location provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. One small thing to improve would be to enhance the speed of service during busy times, but overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The Talk House is a charming venue that beautifully balances a traditional aesthetic with modern service. Although the food quality and quantity at my recent experience fell short of expectations, the staff's friendliness and the inviting atmosphere made for a pleasant overall visit.

The ambience exudes a rustic charm, making it perfect for a casual evening. The outdoor patio area is a nice touch, ideal for unwinding after a long day.
The room was on the smaller side, feeling a bit cramped, with limited furniture to put your belongings on-just a wet kettle, really. I found the wooden floors rather chilly and there was an issue with damp on one wall. The noise level was a distraction, especially with clattering barrels from the pub cellar next door. Every time the rain hit, I could hear water splashing from a leaking gutter right outside my door.

Couple seeking a unique experience
The atmosphere was really nice with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The breakfast was memorable too, a chef singing as he cooked which made it more enjoyable.
It wasn't cheap but still acceptable for the experience we had.
